News 2009-2010

Recently, over 100 Georgia Technology Student Association members traveled to Denver, Colorado for their National Conference. The students worked diligently to beat out the rest of the United States and Germany as well. Starting June 28, students began to turn in projects that they had worked on all year in hopes of making the finals, while others prepared themselves for on-site competitions. Throughout the week students worked very hard on their events and they attended many leadership sessions. Many students had the chance to see the lovely Rocky Mountains, shop in the downtown area, and enjoy several local attractions while visiting Denver. On July 2 the conference came to an end with the awards ceremony, the moment everyone had been waiting for to hear the results. Georgia did an amazing job overall, with 26 top 10 finishes, 4 3rd place winners, 3 2nd place winners, and 2 1st place winners. Congratulations to everyone for all their hard work!
